About Free Fun Kauai
Free Fun Kauai is a simple community calendar for free things to do on Kauai — potlucks, beach cleanups, jam sessions, dance classes, hikes, and whatever else neighbors dream up. Locals post events, anyone can browse, and a quick email link is all you need to RSVP. No apps, no ticket fees, no cost.
It's run by and for the Kauai community. If it helps one more person find one more good afternoon with their neighbors, it's doing its job.
House rules
- Free events only. Everything posted here is free to attend. No ticket sales, no cover charges, no upsells. If an event costs money, it doesn't belong here.
- Be kind.This is a small island and a smaller community. Treat hosts and fellow attendees with aloha. Harassment, hate, and spam aren't welcome.
- Hosts are responsible for their own events. Free Fun Kauai is a bulletin board, not an organizer. Hosts set the details, show up, and are accountable for what happens at their gatherings. Attend at your own discretion and use common sense.
When you RSVP, hosts can see you
So hosts can plan and reach out about their events, RSVP'ing shares your name and email address with that event's host. Only the host of an event you RSVP to can see it — it is never shown publicly or sold. If you'd rather not share your email with a host, don't RSVP to that event.
